I love to collect old photos once in a while. I have no idea who this young man is, but he is certainly ‘standing’ tall for this photo.
Last week was ‘hands’, so found this one of Brian holding a tiny toad:

Just a fun little collage I did to honor the fine state on Pennsylvania. I grew up only about 10 miles or so outside of Philly. On this map, I live under West Chester now. My Uncle Don lived in West Chester. If you see route 322, that’s the way to Penn State.
I had to include Ben Franklin and the Liberty Bell too.
I’ve been to most of the towns here, not sure about Bethlehem.

Met the dentist at the office yesterday for about 10 minutes-kind of ruined our whole day. He put a patch on my tooth, but I need a crown on it. I figured that. There are 3 next to it and one under it. I could have bought a car with what we’ve spent on my teeth.

My mom still needs some good vibes-the bank keeps finding unusual things to stop her rev.mortgage from going through. This has been doing on since November.
I come from a family with lots of males…I have three brothers-the oldest has two sons, I have one son and the youngest has a son…and a daughter…we are the only girls for 40 years!
Here is a shot of most of the guys and that sweet girl there (her mama is down the table more) at a pizza party we had for Sean for his Penn State graduation last year. All the kids in this generation have the sparkling blue eyes.
And right in his house it’s 3 guys and a gal-even the cat is a boy!
I have 338 photos on Flickr tagged with the word ‘orange’. This one is a few years old, but I loved these glass pumpkins. They still sell a few in the gift shop at Longwood Gardens, but they are quite pricey.
And speaking of Longwood, I was scanning old photos as I want to return them to their rightful owner and I found this one of my mom back in 1948 near the main fountain garden-I’m going by the chairs. I love this photo of her.

Update-My uncle finally got in a room after spending an entire day in the ER. He walked and ate a bit, but is still very weak.
This was taken in March of 2009 at the Philadelphia Flower Show. Every year there is a Miniature competition and this was one of the displays featuring ‘Vino’ or Wine. : ) I have other photos, but this is the clearest of the bunch. Amazingly lovely in it’s small size, don’t you think?
I like this one too, which was best of show.

When I was in 5th grade, about 1970, my teacher’s fiance was a cartoonist (on the side I think). Every week for about 20 odd weeks, he would make each of us a drawing with a little help from Miss Brown about the person he was doing the cartoon for. I remember waiting ‘forever’ for this one. I was very pleased with what it said too. And it was written in all block ‘letters’. Pretty cute! And I will say Miss B. was one of the sweetest teachers I ever had.
Flashing back to about 1975 here gang! This is my friend from high school before we went to a concert. Not sure if you remember The Hudson Brothers, Bill (he is Kate’s dad), Mark and Brett, but we loved them and went to see them at the Allentown, PA fair that summer. I hadn’t heard from my friend for years and we got in touch a few years back and now are Facebook pals. She just became a grandmom this April.
I wish my clothes now were that were loose around my waist again-lol
This is for my nephew who is a freshman at the same school we went too!
These are tulips-can you make them out in the middle there? I was playing around with paint shop a number of years ago. Isn’t it psychedelic?
Wow! This was a tough one! I was thinking rows, puzzles and then figure pages in a book go by page number. The books here are wonderfully illustrated bound editions of St Nicholas magazines (I haven’t looked at them for a while, but I believe that’s what they were) from over 100 years ago. They aren’t just about Christmas either. The illustrations are mainly etchings. I had owned a previous version and mainly bought these to copy and use in my collage work. They haven’t been put in a proper place yet, still in the box-shame on me! I got them for only $10-told my hometown library people I’d take them off their hands for a lower price (I think they were first marked as $22-25).
‘Orange’ you glad that I like orange? Lantana comes in some really some neat colors and I always have some in the garden.
