I found the pretty tags at JoAnn’s and used one on a 4″ x 4″ collage card. The fairy is vintage art. I’m getting excited to see my own little garden of roses blooming soon. The Julia Child ‘butter’ tinted one looks good. I have two yellow rosebushes (actually three, but one is in Sean’s garden) as I love yellow roses.
I had my mom and her friend drive out for a brief visit on Sunday. She came bearing gifts of produce and chicken which was nice as I used both for dinner.
A strange occurence was found on my roof on Sunday. I was near the road raking out yet another garden (yucca) and I scanned the roof and saw a neat pile of what looked like sawdust over the family room. I called Brian out and neither of us saw holes. Bri got out the ladder and it was sawdust. We’re thinking carpenter ants and they must be inside the attic area where we can’t get to them in a low spot, though we aren’t seeing any inside the main house-hope not. If it happens again, I’m getting an exterminator to check it out. It’s probably not termites as most of my house is cinder blocks and stucco. It’s always something!
