One World-One Heart Event

Unpredictable February-another month of winter and cold-we’ll see what our furry little groundhog pal sees tomorrow! This will be a sticky post. All newer posts will follow.
I am throwing my hat in for the One World-One Heart event-my third year-thanks to Lisa for all the time and effort she puts into this event-wow!!!
I found the most gorgeous book of prints at the tribute to Andrew Wyeth at the Brandywine River museum yesterday and thought fellow artists would love it for their libraries.
It is only available at the museum and includes a sprinkling of many of the artists who have been featured at the museum-including the late Andrew Wyeth.
I’ll send you a copy of the card they gave out at the museum-they were very stingy with giving these out! I only got two, one for us and one for our son who grew up in this area:
Please leave a comment here if you would like to try to win this amazing book. I will pick a winner on the 12th at midnight. I also made a ‘skinny’ card (3″x5″) in tribute to the late Andrew Wyeth’s work to include with the book (the photo in the book was my influence):

  1. What a wonderful idea. We lost a giant in the art world with the passing of Mr. Wyeth. My collection of books about him has room for one more. It has been so meaningful to visit many exhibitions of his work……SC, PA and ME.

    Great idea.

  2. oh, what a fabulous book, I would love to have that gracing my coffee table! If the rest of the book is anything like the photos you showed us, I am hoping I get to win it!!

  3. I’m having so much fun blog-hopping and making friends this year.

Thanks for such a generous giveaway! I hope I’m chosen as the lucky winner!!!

  4. Wonderful and unique giveaway. I love visiting art museums, and it would be so lovely to have a book featuring the exhibits of a gallery I have never seen, especially one that showcases the talent of the late gifted artist Mr Wyeth.

  11. The Brandywine River Museum sounds wonderful…I live near the Cleveland Museum of Art. The museums hold such beautiful records of history, art and culture… stories of life.

The book that you are generously giving away would take one to another place and time through art. You are kind to offer this adventure!

  12. Thank you for your visit to my blog…it is so nice to meet you.
The Brandywine River Museum is one of my favorite museums…how wonderful it would be to win this book.

  13. i have a fondness for museum books–they’re one of my accidental collections! (you know, where you buy one, and then you pick one up at a garage sale, and someone gives you one, and then, before you realize it, you have a collection.)

thank you for the opportunity, and thank you for participating in OWOH.
