This was taken at Longwood Gardens on April 25th. I thought it was interesting to see this as we don’t grow Sequoias in PA.! the info said it started growing in the year 312 and was cut down in 1914. Interesting!!

Time does march on……
These bottles were found on the White Star shipwreck the S.S. Republic. They still sealed and contained wine and were being tested to see if they were still drinkable.
The RMS Republic was the pride of the White Star Steamship Company prior to the
building of the R.M.S. Titanic in 1912. The ship foundered at sea 50 miles south of
Nantucket Island on January 24, 1909.
If you like exhibits, especially FREE ones, stop by the Shipwreck Museum in Fenwick Island, Delaware. They change their exhibits all the time.

With Pope Benedict here for a visit, I picked out thirteen of my favorite cross necklaces. I get lots of necklaces for gifts as you can see! Since 13 is suppose to be unlucky, I picked these because they at least bring me comfort when going to the dentist or doctor or when I feel like wearing one. Speaking of the Pope, there was just a special mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral where my family and I got to go last summer.
And a board I made to hold most of my thin chained necklaces. It is padded with ‘T’ hooks at the top. So far it hasn’t fallen down.

Another good reason to visit Longwood Gardens frequently:
This is the fairly new Children’s garden at Longwood Gardens. There are water features at every corner (see my video on the right). I love this sunny stained glass window. I didn’t know it had the two little red chairs under it (as I only saw it from the other side the last time I was here)!
WordPress just changed everything around! So I have to learn it again!
This is the main conservatory at Longwood Gardens, Kennett Square, PA. This is a wall of orchids and was over a large door way. You can see the roof of the conservatory there, so it’s high up! I think it’s amazing to see this every year when they do their orchid display. As of 4 pm, I have no comments! Wow! I also made a video of my day yesterday in my right side bar.

A metal structure from the recent Philadelphia Flower Show. That big leaf looks like he is being modest and hiding behind it!
And one of the most famous structures in Orlando, Florida-
The Epcot sphere. That’s Sean giving the thumbs up. We weren’t planning on doing Disney (just Universal) back in ’05, but decided to go on Mother’s Day. I could have had my legs fall off that night and wouldn’t have known it!

So gang, this was a hard hunt! I went outside and took over 20 photos and narrowed it down to this, which is photoshopped to make it more interesting, plus my guys liked this one best. I should say this is a bush under my bedroom window and there’s a wee friend hiding!

Here are a few others I took just for fun:
(a police car drove by when I was taking this, I guess he wondered what I was doing!) It’s a faux stone that says ‘tranquility’.
I so miss my flowers! I was out this past Monday raking around my little box hedges and irises as they looked so forlorn. So this photo hunt had me thinking about how I love different colors when it comes to choosing flowers for my various gardens. I really like a rainbow effect, but these green hued flowers are so unusual! They are easy to grow and not hard to find. The lime color zinnias are Envy and the greenish irises are Kiwi.

And… Sean arrived home safe and sound about 3 Friday afternoon. He looks good. He gave the security deposit for his studio apartment today before he left. When his dad got home, he gave his boy the biggest smile I’ve seen in ages. : )
