Flying high

Standard

I found some collages I had made and not shared, so that’s what I can use for a few days while I get my mojo back to do this kind of hobby. I really had fun with this card starting with the ferris wheel and going from there. I am going to pick one of my 140 collages to give away for the One World, One Heart Event coming up soon.
I did work on my cross stitch lady’s face. I decided to concentrate on her face and then do her hair last. This is a monotone piece-mostly browns.
I made dinner for the first time since last week. Brian mentioned take-out and I couldn’t handle what he was suggesting, so I made scrambled eggs, bacon and tator tots! It didn’t take long and I need to get my sea legs steady. I had only a little discomfort, but I haven’t take the pain med for days. I can’t wait to stop the antibiotic as tonight I have some indigestion.
Snow is blowing in late tomorrow. It may be a good day to make some split pea soup-I bought some yellow peas last week Zoey!

  1. Yumo! I hope you like the soup. I had some of my batch in the freezer and just finished it off last week.

Tonight’s dinner will be scrounging in the refrigerator to find enough leftovers for two people. I think DH wants the roasted chicken and I will have the pepperoni pasta. Then all of my weekend cooking will be gone. I hate to cook on work nights, so I don’t know what I will do for tomorrow. Maybe we will go to the restaurant where I work and let them cook!

Glad to hear you are feeling up to doing things.

Cute collage. I love old ferris wheels.
