Now that I’ve seen this, I am thinking I once had one of these ruffled edged lilies. Seems like it was pink. But I have not seen it this year so maybe I accidently removed it when I was digging out all the orange ones. I hope not!
Hi, just touching base, what a pretty color on the daylily.
I am so enjo. ying the ornamental lillies in bloom. They are wonderful shaded from dark to light pink.
I have some unusual delicate orange lilies blooming.
The hosta is huge, and the orange tigerlilies, mine are double and triple flowers, are mixed in. Of course the black eyed susans are rampant. the montauk daisy plants are huge, I have never seen them this big, I hope they get lots of daisies.
I had my lazik eye surgery done. So I am just chilling. I drove to the library and food shopping, because it was overcast. I can’t drive in the sun yet, the glare is too much, and sunglasses just distort what I see. I have ordered polarized glasses for the sun and driving they are supposed to be crystal clear.
I will need reading glasses, right now I am using over the counter ones, they are OK, but I will need to wait a few months for my vision to set, and then get a better pair.
I have been listening to books on cd. I started Audition written by Barbara Walters, really good book so far.
I am finishing up The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. It is based on the Nazi occupation of the island Guernsey, very interesting, I had seen a movie about this,
The other cd book I finished was a Thread of Grace. Nazi occcupation of Italy when Mussolini surrendered. Hitler order the Italians to turn in the Jews, and not one of them did. They hid them, they made false documents for them.
Very interesting. Well enough books on Nazis for awhile.
Love that ruffled edge!
