Ah, it’s that time of year again. I really love all the varieties of lilies and have them in several areas of my yard. The deer already snacked on a few buds-so I have to see if I can mix up some homemade deer repellent-thanks to Turkey Feathers blog and Missy who pointed in that direction. I just sprayed what was left with insect repellent, seems to have done the trick, until it rains again.

They’re beautiful, Dianne! I hope you can keep the deer away from them!
Gorgeous lilies!! Mine are almost all done now which is such a shame, they just don’t last long enough! Like the peonies, give them 3 or 4 days and they’re done. Sigh. I just bought a book about natural ways to combat insects, animals, etc, from gardens since it’s illegal to use any type of pesticides and insecticides here now. I still have a 3/4 can of Raid and I’m going to use it, they can come arrest me if they want! lol xoxo
Beautiful, beautiful blooms you have there! Good luck with the deer repellant. Let us know how it works for you.
Love the lilies, mine didn’t come up yet!
