We were all so surprised to hear of the passing of pop singer/entertainer Michael Jackson. Although the events of his life took many unusual turns, he was deep down a sensitive and obviously a confused man. He was only 14 months older than me, so in my house, we watched Michael and the Jackson Five on The Ed Sullivan Show and followed his career for many years. He had a great voice and some amazing moves. He was awesome on his LP ‘Thriller’ and the video was just as neat-a big event at the time.
I’m thinking about his three children and what will happen to them. I hope their future was planned.

It truly is the end of an era, isn’t it? When we heard the news over breakfast, my one thought was that I hope he’s finally in a happier place.
I found it terribly sad. Michael appeared to be a tortured soul and I find it hard to listen to all the diffrent stories about him. The media just doesn’t know when to leave things alone. I hope too like Barbara that he is in a happier place,
