My grandmother Ruth was also my second mom who helped raise her 4 grandkids. She gave up her freedom to travel and maybe live with her sister in Florida to help my mom out. ‘Mom-mom’ passed away in 2000 at almost the age of 97! Of course I didn’t take this photo as I am in it! I have a great one of her that I took when my son Sean was christened, but I gave it to my mom-need to scan it one of these days.

What a lovely photo of you and your Grandma Ruth! I’m certainly thinking of my Grandma especially since it’s Mother’s Day tomorrow…she passed away last year at the age of 93…I’m really missing her! But she was my second mama too!
I was looking down through some of your past posts and seen the photo of your Grandma Ruth in the rose gardens…you’re right…love that poofy fur collar!!!

I acutally found a pretty striped tablecoth with those colors in it! I’m just waiting for it to come in the mail! hehe!!!
