St Patrick’s Cathedral NYC, originally uploaded by DianthusMoon.

Back in June, 07 we attended a wedding on a cruise ship on the Hudson River off of NYC. We had time to do sightseeing and went to mass on Sunday at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Talk about a step back in time! And this is such a massive structure in the confides of a tight city space. Modernization has crept up around this grand church. It was amazing to go into the church.

  1. What a gorgeous eXample of gothic architecture. So glad that sacred space has held it’s own all these years… Enjoyed your unique perspective on today’s theme. ThanX for visiting.

  2. How come, this is the only church I’ve really seen in N Y.

However, I’m rather sceptical to all the Mono God Religions that origins from the deserts in the Middle East/Arabia area.
Wars and disputes have followed, in the name of the good and common God. Hmmm?
