Show & Tell #14

Standard

I have a cute collection of figurines on the front ledge of my kitchen garden window. Seeing Kelli’s last week made me want to show you mine (in a way, I didn’t dust the shelf)! Many are Enesco items like Mary Moo Moos, Cherished Teddies and Blushing Bunnies (eBay has tons of these). Zelda’s Wisdom is the dog with the chef hat on with the wooden spoon in her mouth. I always admired the saying wrapped around Zelda’s base-‘If you can’t stand the heat, get out of kitchen’.

I love the cow selling lemonade and the Dairy Queen bovine-all of them!

They make me smile when I see them, hope they make you smile too.

Also made these ATCs (Art Trading Cards) over the last week. I call them ‘Seasonal Duos’.

  1. Thanks so much for posting this! I have been searching for a certain Cherished Teddies piece and couldn’t for the life of me remember what they were called. You collection is adorable, by the way!

  2. Diane,
They did make me smile! As a small child I bought two cow figurines and when my first grandson was a small child he adored cows so I gave them to him….his mother has them in the kitchen window and every time I visit I’m carried back to my childhood and the time I purchased them….

Thank you for visiting with me …please come again…Betty

  3. Foodie figurines–what a neat collection. I love it!

It would be cool to do a little kitchen Christmas tree with all foodie figurines.

I am already thinking and seeing Christmas in everything. It’s pretty annoying since it’s not even Halloween yet.

  4. What a super collection…just darling.

[and ya….I’m rooting for the Phillies too!]

Stop by my show and tell when you have time, I’d love to have you visit with me this fine day. Happy weekend to you!!!

  5. Oh they are so cute I especially like the dog with the spoon in his mouth! BTW thanks for coming over today it was nice to meet you. I wrote another post today extending my new Wed. meme. It is all about friends.

    Sherry

  6. Your little “foodie figures” are so cute. But I’m mostly interested in your atc’s. I would love to have you visit my art blog where you’ll find my atc’s, too. Also is a list of links of atc challenge sites and swaps I participate in. I’d love to hear from you on this.
