Not to insult any living being, I chose wrinkled things from nature.

This is a nasturtium bloom. It’s a gorgeous orangey red. I had bought a few packets of seeds and went around and poked seeds everywhere, simple as that. I am now getting rewarded by these surprise gems in all hues. And you can eat them too-they taste peppery. Here’s a yellow one with the sun shining on it brightly:

They tend to love the dry and sunny conditions we are experiencing now here in PA.

This flower are wrinkled all over….nice pick for this week theme 🙂
Those are wrinkled. That’s a good choice for wrinkled.
Oh, so that’s what a nasturtium is. My mother-in-law is always talking about planting them, and I didn’t have a clue what they were. I don’t exactly have a green thumb 😦
great photo’s very wrinkly 🙂
Thanks for visiting mine.
GREAT shot! I didn’t know nasturtiums were so wrinkly. Someone else had a photo of their wrinkly seeds. I will have to try growing this plant!
My Photo Hunt is up, too! Please visit and leave your link. 🙂 http://newyorktraveler.net/photo-hunters-wrinkled/
Great photos, I love the flowers, esp. the yellow ones. I was thinking that too, I didn’t want to post a photo of someone 🙂 Thanks for visiting mine.
How unique to choose flowers for wrinkly!
I love the nasturtiums. I planted some seeds a couple of years ago and really enjoyed them. I should try to remember them for next year.
Those are beautiful! I love how they look like delicate paper.
Wow! Those are perfect choices 🙂 Reminds me that summer is coming to an end…
Four years of blogging? That is quite an accomplishment. I am still working on my first so I have a long way to go.
I was noticing the hibiscus blooming yesterday and thinking about how wrinkled and yet perfect it is. Does that mean we get better with all of our wrinkles?
Loved your pressed flower paper. The colors are remarkable.
