The above is in our driveway. Sean bought a big package of fireworks. It started to rain right as they were finishing up ‘their show’.
And my dinner:
Baby back ribs, coconut shrimp, a little drumstick, red potato salad, tomato with EVOO and fresh basil, green bean salad and cucumber salad. We had brownies for dessert. It would have looked nicer on a pretty plate. After we ate outside (just the 3 of us), it started to drizzle. Mom is over my Uncle Don’s for a few days.

Happy 4th of July to you and your family, dear Dianne:-) Hope you had a wonderful day. I see that you were able to go watch the fireworks…great pictures:-) xoxo
It seems so strange to me now to see people in T-shirts setting off their own fireworks. Here in the Netherlands, people set off their own fireworks for New Year’s Eve, and of course everyone is bundled up against the cold.
I’m glad that you and your wonderful family enjoyed a joyous (and safe) Fourth of July!
What fun the guys were having! Your dinner looks very good.
I don’t know what that plant is above, but it’s pretty neat looking with that flower.
I need to go now and see your banana picture.
Looks lke fun, though fireworks scare me(the ones done at home) I am always afraid somone will get hurt. Your dinner looks yummy too.
