Some plant stuff

Standard

I’m basically breaking tidbits of info up. A few weeks ago, Lee asked me if I knew what was wrong with her plants. Well, didn’t some of my own plants get ‘rust’ on them. I did some research and it’s a fungus from too much rain and dampness. They tell you to remove all the leaves, but I’d be out there for a while to do so. The rust is mainly bothering my Shasta Daisies (Grrr-I love them) and a few other perennials. I think you can spray them, but since it’s there already, I don’t know how that would help. I guess I’ll just watch it and pick off the ugly ones.

  1. We spent the day at Matterhorn Gardens.
We had lovely weather. They have a very impressive Rose Garden and 2 big ponds, that you can walk around with Bridges going over them and nice plantings. Ducks and turtles to spy.
They also have resident dogs, they love greeting the guests, and they travel around the nursery with the workers.
They have a very large assortment of plants for sale. I like the way they are set up, Perenials for shade. for sun. Annuals for shade for sun. This makes it easier to look for plants for your particular needs. I will fill you in on more when I download the photos.,

  2. It’s been raining here every day this week. Now I probably have rust to look forward to!

Glad to hear that Sean made his decision. I hope it all goes well for him.
