Milkweed in a row
I let this spring up in just one area of the yard as I have seen Monarch butterfly caterpillars happily munching on the leaves. I think the silky seedpods are pretty too.

  1. milkweed? It is a bit different from our milkweed, but monarchs eat milkweed (I think if my memory is right). I’m glad you let them grow for the butterflies. I do that with the dandelions for the goldfinches.

  2. My daughter-in-law had some of this in the garden at her new house and I can’t believe I didn’t know what milkweed looked like until I researched it! Duh. Butterfly magnet, for sure.
