Brian gave me this last year and it really likes the garden window in the kitchen! The first blooms got stuck in part of the window. Now I see it has these two and some new branches coming out. I noticed they don’t like to be watered a lot.

The air conditioning is fixed or adjusted. A nice man who looked like actor Jason Robards (I compare everyone to a celebrity) thought it had something to do with our old dehumidifer and the air getting really cold from that (say what?). He put some kind of a vent in there and closed it up.

Hi Dianne,
Glad to hear you got your A/C repaired, I have used ours once, one day last week, I got home and needed to clean upstairs and it was 84 degrees. I hit the a/c switch fast.
It hasn’t been a necessity since, the nights are so cool here, that the house stays cool all day, except for around 5pm, then we are downstairs anyway and it is cooler there, (you know, heat rises). By the time we get up stairs for the evening, it is around 9 pm and cool again.
I saw your e-mail was down, so I thought I would tell you here that we are going to be in your neighborhood next weekend, 9-10. We are arriving Saturday morning, we have all day to see you, hopefully, then we are meeting another couple that night and spending the night at their house, going to Winterthur Gardens on Sunday.
Let me know if you can hang out on Saturday, we can go out for dinner Saturday night, nothing fancy. I will need directions to your house too please. Really looking forward to seeing you.
Angela
We don’t have an A/C – there are usually only a few days per year that we’d really consider it a necessity – but I’ve been places where they are needed and boy, do you miss them when they don’t work! Glad yours is repaired. Love that orchid!!
