My grandparent’s marriage certificate from 1921, though my grandfather spelled his name with one ‘l’:
My above mentioned grandparents were married until his passing in January, 1960. I was only about 8 weeks old, so I never knew him. My ‘mom-mom’ was in my life until 2000, when she passed on at almost the age of 97.

What a great piece of family history. I know you are proud to have that.
Oh wow, what a wonderful treasure to have! I’ve never seen a marriage certificate from the early 1900’s so it is indeed rare!! I do hope they had a very happy marriage:-) Have a wonderful weekend my friend! xox
That is so cool – it’s in great shape for its age too!
That’s really cool, Dianne. When we were cleaning out my grandmother’s house this past winter we found all sorts of old and interesting articles, photos and certificates. This is a very pretty certificate and such a great item of family history to have. 🙂
wow what a treasure to have such a small part of your grandparent’s past. Very rare. thanks for sharing!
