Tour of Homes day

Standard
Welcome to the Tour of Homes!

I was going to do this last night, but we had a wicked thunder and lightning storm go through. So here is part of my home:

Welcome to my home. I use to have a red door and painted it teal (my favorite color). Of course there are tons of flowers all around. The sign says-“Welcome to our nest”
Here’s the computer desk tucked in the corner of the family room below (you don’t see any dust, do you?)

Me at the computer collaging-what else? See the example right there on the screen.

Our family room in red and gold-this is where I store most of my 100s of books. The pile next to the sofie is my cross stitch stuff. This room use to be the attached garage that we converted back in 1992.

Part of my new blue and white kitchen (click kitchen to see more photos of the remodel). I can only have magnets on the one side of the frig now. ; )

My little hideaway behind some holly bushes. Say ‘hi’ to my kitty Cosmo!

  1. What fun to see glimpses of your home:-) I love it!! This is such a great idea but I don’t think I’ll be able to visit everyone in one day..might take a week! lol

  2. Your kitchen is beautiful, but I think I’m jealous of your hideaway. For one that you have one, and secondly that is so relaxing.

    Thanks for the tour.

  3. I’m with Pea! I feel like I’ve been around this world twenty times this morning. Your home is very welcoming!
    Hi Cosmo!
    Bye Cosmo….

  4. Your home looks as inviting as your wonderful gardens, Dianne! πŸ™‚

Glad to read that your uncle is doing better and will go in for the necessary rehab. How does your mom like her new screenhouse? Those are great.

Having fun here – take care!

  5. How lovely to share a glimpse into your home…it looks cosy in there and your new kitchen is great. Glad to hear your Uncle is still doing OK πŸ™‚
    Enjoy your weekend!

  6. I love your front door but that little hideaway is wonderful. How did you manage that? It’s such a nice spot. Thank you for sharing it with us.

  7. Thanks for the tour πŸ™‚ I am in PA too, and I also love to cross stitch! I am working on a HUGE gold and red dragon fire screen right now (and for the past 4 years, it’s really big with metalic thread and glass beads, both of which I find hard to work with). We have the same “blog chair” πŸ˜›
