An iris I just planted a few months ago got a bud. I haven’t gone out to check it lately. My impatiens still look good. They must love all the rain. And my November birth flower, the mum in my favorite yellow-gold color greets me near the front door.

You still have a lot of nice flowers in bloom. Is that iris supposed to be a fall-bloomer or is it all confused?
Gee, maybe it is a fall bloomer. It’s on it’s third bloom! I’d take a picture if it wasn’t all wet and beaten down looking.
