Remember and other catch up cards

Standard

Remember 4" x 4" Collage card, originally uploaded by DianthusMoon.

I decided I needed to do some cards after dinner. This was going to be a Christmas card and I saw the stamped rocking chair laying on my art table that someone had sent me-so it’s a rememberance card for my uncle. He use to sit all day in a recliner, so this is second best-and it’s empty.
We went to Brian’s 35th high school reunion last night which was nice. Only 15 out of about 53 (private prep school) came, but it made it more of an intimate occasion. We thought a few guys would talk to us more than they did as they were involved in our lives in the past, but they didn’t say much. Here’s Brian with a few old classmates:

And here are my other collages: A reindeer Christmas card from a set I decided not to send this year and a little girl dressed like Rudolph:

An Asian one with pink and purple using a piece of handmade paper:

And one for Mexico as I found a map of it and went from there:

Here’s a pretty shot of the decorations at Brian’s old school Devon:

  1. Love the card you made in memory of your uncle, so very touching. Also love all the other cards you made, especially the rudolph one:-)

I’m so glad that you and Brian were able to go to his school reunion but what a shame not more people showed up. As you say, though, it made it more intimate. Absolutely love the way they decorated the entrance and the fireplace, very pretty. xoxo
