My uncle had a colonoscopy today and they found he had a large tumor in his intestines that probably has been there for years. He is having an operation in the next few days to remove it. At first they weren’t sure if he could go through it, but I guess they figure he can. I’ll keep you posted on how he is.

As some one who was found to have a smallish, but older colon cancer tumor last March, I wish your uncle all the best in his ongoing sessions. Radiation wasn’t too bad and chemo hasn’t been bad until this 6th session (out of nine, #7 tomorrow). I hope he doesn’t need a colostomy (worse than the Chemo). But if it it stage II his prognosis is better than 80% after chemo. Much hugs to you and your family.
Please know that I’ll keep your uncle in my thoughts and prayers.
Dianne, I received a card today telling me of the donation you made in my name to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of my dad…thank you so much, this means a lot to me. xoxo
I knew you would get that soon Carole. I was happy to donate in your name.
Kathryn, not sure if it’s cancerous or not, I’m hoping and thinking not as he has it a while.
Glad to hear you are doing well.
