It’s about time I did a card for October’s Breast Cancer Awareness month.
I actually started with the quote, then the paper and then thought it was perfect to make a powerful statement. I’ll be scheduling my mammogram later this month. Sometimes I get aches and pains in muscles or nerves in my chest area and it scares me. All the sweeping and mopping I did a few days ago made my right pec so sore I’ve been using heat and ice.
Brian was cleaning up Chestnut tree burrs on Sunday-nasty things and adding 4 bags of top soil around different areas of the house’s foundation. He also added gravel under a rain gutter that tends to overflow. He figures he could use another 4-6 bags! Just that little effort saved us from having a wet basement for many years. Of course when it rains either 3 inches in an hour or almost 8 in one day, you have to expect weird things to happen.
I had to get tons of food today, so treated myself to these Gerbera daisies. They are so hot pink!
Changing out summer clothes to winter now and then will gather the lawn decorations this week. I so would love a walk in closet instead of having to switch the clothes out. It does make me get rid of clothes that I don’t wear, so that’s a good thing too.
Sorry I’ve been offline all week, Dianne. Love your pink goodness for breast cancer awareness month.
